Initials:
This course is for delegates who wish to carry out Lookout duties, and provide warning to other in the Railway environment that a train is approaching.
The delegate/s must be over the age of 16 and have good understanding of the English Language.
All delegate/s must have an in date Medical and Drug Screen.
Delegates who have a red triangle endorsed on their Sentinel card cannot undertake LKT training.
Delegate/s who wish to attend this course must have a valid PTS competency on Sentinel.
On the day all delegate/s will be given a LKT Key Points Book and LKT Logbook
Delegate/s cannot have a red triangle on their Sentinel card or be in Learning Support at the time of training.

Delegates must bring with them on the day of the training:

• PPE (Blue Hard Hat, Hi Vis Vest, Hi Vis Trousers, Safety Boots)
• Photo I.D Photo I.D- Sentinel Card/Virtual Card
• Must know your Date of Birth & National Insurance (NI) Number

Re-certs:
This course is for delegates who require a re-assessment of their knowledge and understanding of the requirements of LKT.
The delegate/s must be over the age of 16 and have good understanding of the English Language.
All delegate/s must have an in date Medical and Drug Screen.
Re-cert of the LKT can be done only if the competency is valid or within the 8 weeks grace period from the expiry date.
Delegate/s cannot have a red triangle on their Sentinel card or be in Learning Support at the time of training.
All delegate/s must have a minimum of 4 entries in their LKT Logbook

Delegates must bring with them on the day of the training:

• Photo I.D- Sentinel Card/Virtual Card
• Must know your Date of Birth & National Insurance (NI) Number
• LKT Log Book
