Rail Industry Track Maintenance Course – Doncaster
7 Week Programme

Whilst on your course, you will gain the following:
- City & Guilds Diploma Level 2 in Rail Engineering
- Competency for Core Plant & Small Tools
- Health & Safety Awareness
- Manual Handling
- Fire & First Aid Awareness
- Track Trolley & Ironman
- Personal Track Safety (PTS)
- Track Induction Course (TIC)
- Direct Current Conductor Rail (DCCR)
- OLEC 1
All candidates will meet their employer during the course, on successful completion of the course, all candidates will be given a guaranteed ‘trial’ shift.
Eligibility:
- Able to pass a Network Rail Medical and Drug & Alcohol test (must be 8 weeks clear prior to starting the course)
- Must be at least 19 years of age, as of the 31st August of the current academic year, there is no upper age limit
- Anyone aged 19-23 years old will require a full level 2 qualification prior to starting the course. We can help you gain this within a couple of days, please contact us to arrange this.
- If aged 24 upwards you must be working at minimum Level 1 maths and English
- Must have had residency in the UK for the last 3 years
- Must be in receipt of any of the following benefits:

How to apply & book a place:
To get on to this course you would need to attend an IAG session (Information and Guidance), which we hold prior to any course starting, this involves a presentation a short Interview.
