Trackwork provides Signalling Design, Installation, Testing and Project Management services.
Our Signalling Division was formed to help meet the signalling demands of the changing railway network, originally in the East Coast Mainline area of the UK. The Company today employs 65+ staff with combined rail-related experience of over 500 years.
With over 60 competent Signalling Engineers working out of our three regional offices, Trackwork offers a complete signalling service for the rail industry operating on a national basis. Our 20+ mobile teams can be available at short notice on a seven-days-a-week, 24-hours-a-day basis. They are highly experienced in delivering simple, short-term assignments ranging from the re-positioning of a signal, through to long-term re-modelling or re-signalling projects.
Through adopting a culture of continuous professional development, our Signalling Team prides itself on developing and delivering solutions suitable for clients in a cost-effective and reliable manner. Competence of staff is progressive and regularly maintained, providing the levels of assurance clients in the rail industry expect. As with any reputable rail engineering company, Trackwork has relevant accreditations including the various RISQS approvals and IRSE licenses for all signalling staff.
Many of our staff were trained and developed during the days of British Rail. Standards have been maintained and the Company has a commitment to ensuring ongoing levels of competence to enable clients to be assured projects will be delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Today, Trackwork offers a complete ‘one-stop’ shop for railway signalling services, operating a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week service UK-wide, with the ability to field 20+ test teams at any one time.
