Acting as Principle Contractor to Network Rail, Trackwork were awarded the contract to carry out W10 Re-gauging works to Sandy Lane & Radford Road, Coventry

The objective of the contract was to lower 1200yds of track in order to achieve W10 + 100 gauge clearance to over-bridges. The core works were undertaken during 2 No. x 54 hour OROR possessions.

The scope of work comprised of:

• Pre & post survey work.
• S&T disconnections, reconnections & testing.
• Renewal of 1200yds of ballast and sleepers with formation treatment.
• Design, installation, maintenance & removal of TSR’s.
• Welding & Stressing.
