DP World – London Gateway Port

London Gateway is situated on the North Bank of the River Thames and is the UK’s first major deep-sea container port and Europe’s largest logistics port.

DP World installed a fully automated ‘end to end’ container handling system using the latest technology and Automated Stacking Cranes (ASC’s).

Trackwork were awarded successive contracts to install the ASC track for Berths 1, 2 and 3. The contracts included the design, supply and installation of 12km of track comprising AS86 crane rail on specially designed single rail concrete sleepers with pandrol fittings.
