Track materials are manufactured at our steel fabrication facilities in Hetton-le-hole Tyne-and-Wear and Wallasey, Merseyside. We manufacture:-

Hollow Steel Sleepers
Fabricated hollow sleepers used for the conveyance of cables and other services.

Fabricated baseplates
Steel baseplates with weld-on shoulders.

Soleplates
Insulated and non-insulated soleplates for timber and concrete turnouts.

Tie-bars (gauge-bars)
Incorporating a turnbuckle to adjust and fix gauge in areas where gauge widening is a problem.

Hinged Derailers
A product that can be locked in an operational or non-operational state. In the operational state it is designed to guide a train wheel off the running rail into the cess or six-foot and derail the train.

Hinged Wheelstops
A product that can be locked in an operational or non-operational state. In the operational state it is designed to stop low speed wheel movement past its location.

Fishplates
Standard, tight-joint, flat F2 and F4 fishplates complete with appropriate bolts.

Lateral resistance plates (LRP)
End and centre mounted LRPs for sleepers and bearers.
