Trackwork has always recognised the value of recycling railway materials both from an engineering and Environmental point of view. The new 16.5 acres premises in Doncaster with 2,500,000 cu.ft of undercover storage means that a vast range of new and serviceable permanent way materials are always available from Stock.

From these extensive stocks Trackwork prefabricates complete turnouts, new or serviceable on timber or concrete bearers ready for inspection prior to dismantling for despatch.

All sections of rail can be cut, drilled, cold expanded for fishplates and ultrasonically tested.

As a major stockist of both new and serviceable railway sleepers/timbers Trackwork have in place procedures to comply with all EU Directives for the handling and disposal of timber sleepers and detailed instructions are provided to the user.
